Disability Rights Florida shares results of Public Records request from the Medicaid iBudget Redesign

The Florida Legislature mandated that the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), in conjunction with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), develop a plan to redesign the Medicaid iBudget Waiver Program after it had continued to operate at a deficit during the 2018-19 fiscal year.

Following concerns via the public regarding the redesign shared at the APD Public Input Meeting held on July 17, 2019, Disability Rights Florida sought to get more detailed information from APD regarding the redesign efforts with AHCA.

On August 28, 2019, Disability Rights Florida has received a number of documents in response to a Public Records request filed with APD regarding the iBudget Redesign. These documents contain preliminary drafts of the materials and Final Report that is due to the Legislature on September 30, 2019.
