Your Support through Membership Enables The Arc of Florida to:
– Make the public aware of the needs, rights and abilities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
– Encourage progressive legislation.
– Develop and promote effective services and supports.
– Educate the public and policy makers on precautions that can be taken to prevent various intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Arc of Florida is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work for education, awareness, research, advocacy and support of families, friends and the community. There are many ways you can become involved and support our mission.
