COVID-19 Training & Resources

In an effort to ensure that Medicaid providers have access to all available resources, the Agency for Health Care Administration (Agency) is issuing a reminder that a new resource website has been launched for Agency issued COVID-19 alerts for facilities and Medicaid providers. The Agency’s new COVID-19 alert website ensures providers have all Agency guidance in one centralized location. The website can be accessed through the following link: http://ahca.myflorida.com/covid-19_alerts.shtml

In addition to posting alerts and resources for both facilities and Medicaid providers, this website also contains responses to Frequently Asked Questions, guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Florida Department of Health (DOH).


Plain Language Pamphlet on COVID-19

The following resource was created by Green Mountain Self Advocates to help explain COVID-19 to individuals with disabilities. This document is written in simple, plain language and includes information on possible symptoms, when to call a doctor, tips to avoid spreading germs, advice for social distancing, dealing with employment and staffing concerns, and suggestions for being prepared to stay at home.
